The Finish Line
We had a blast running our simple race, and
everyone had a good time. The beauty of FPV
racing is that your event can be simple or as
complicated as you would like it to be. It can be
as easy as two guys pointing at two objects and
agreeing to fly around them, or it can be a 100-
pilot event with all the bells and whistles. The
choice is up to you. Just be sure to have fun. J

anything, you can find the issue right away.

a track layout beforehand. This way you can set up the same
track or a similar one at your local flying field.

outstanding move or have a crash that is impossible to
describe, a video will tell it all.
〉〉 Before the race, don’t drink caffeine if it makes you shaky. It
affects me, and I don’t fly as smoothly.
〉〉 The number-one mistake of a new pilot is flying on someone
else’s video channel—been there, done that.
