easy, and maneuvering around and through obstacles and
doorways soon started to feel second nature to me. ;e
included 200mAh battery provided flights that were about
four minutes long, even when I flew aggressively. Outside,
the small Inductrix flew really well but slowed down when
stronger winds blew in.
;e next day of testing took place at SDRC Raceway, my
local RC o;-road track, on its FPV League night. Aimed to
cross-train car racers with drone racing, the field consisted
of more Inductrix FPV drones. I wasn’t the fastest racer, but
throughout the night, I did improve my times through the
challenging flight course—and had a blast doing it.
;e FPV movement is happening, and Blade is leading the
way with the Inductrix FPV RTF. ;is little drone is the
perfect way to get into this first-person-view world and is
a great stepping-stone to get you ready for the bigger and
faster drones that Blade o;ers. I had a blast throughout
testing, and it’s hard to believe that this much fun can be had
for less than $200. If this is what you seek, the Inductrix
FPV RTF deserves a serious look. ;

;e improved Stability mode perfectly compensates for the added weight
of the camera, making easy fast-forward flight possible. ;e ergonomic
handles of the compact Blade 4-channel transmitter fit well in your hands;
they allow you to comfortably hold the transmitter with the 4.3-inch
monitor attached on top, with easy access to the control sticks

to the radio via a spring-loaded clamp. ;e mounting

I quickly read the instruction manual while I topped
o; the batteries for the drone and the monitor.
Even though the manual provided good information,
flying the Inductrix for the first time really was
as easy as turning it on and taking o;. For the first
shakedown flight, I headed to my kitchen and used
my table as a landing pad. Initial takeo; was very easy.
Because this was my first time flying FPV, however, it
took me a little time getting used to flying by monitor
only. ;e SAFE Technology firmware did make flying
the Inductrix easy to
