the throttle is not “live” during the binding procedure. I put my Spektrum
DX6I in “bind” mode, then put the bind plug in the AR7200BX, and it
bound right away.
Next, I checked the Spektrum AR7200BX receiver to make sure all
servos moved in the correct directions and that the three-axis gyro was
working correctly. I always check prior to flight by tilting the helicopter on
its axis and checking the swash to make sure all is functioning correctly.
All settings showed in the manual were correct and the Blade 300X was
functioning as it should.
;umbing through the radio, I double-checked my settings and curves,
as well as set up the timer for a four-minute flight. I had this out of the box
and ready to fly within about 15 minutes—it doesn’t get any easier than
this!
CONCLUSION
I found the Blade 300X to be a very easy model to set up, and it is a blast
to fly. It’s a great heli that required little setup time and an awesome
Spektrum AR7200BX receiver and gyro combo is included. ●
